Hey, I think you're super!3

Hi All!

I'd like to introduce myself as DoggyGal, fido-lover extraordinaire! I'm one of the site moderators here on WikiFido, and I'm here because I'm a doggie lover! I look into a dog's eyes and I can't help but see all the personality inside! I think they are absolutely the best pet you could ever have and they are such wonderful companions!

I spent two years searching for the right dog for our family. I read every dog book I could get my hands on, and every website that I ran across. I explored all sorts of avenues, including rescue organizations, pet shelters and a ton of different breeders! Through my experience, I learned a ton about finding and interviewing good breeders, getting involved with rescue orgs and finding the right dog for you.

I currently own one spoiled, rotten puggy girl, named Zoey. She is such a hilarious little clown! I loved her so much that I gave another little puggy girl to a dear friend of mine so that their family could also enjoy the wonderful little characters that they are.

Anyhow, I love dogs of all kinds and am hoping to talk dog with you all! If you ever have any questions about the site, or suggestions, please let me know! I'm here to help in any way I can so that we can all make this site ours together!

And don't forget to take a peep at Zoey's page...

Cheers,
DoggyGal

Hi DoggyGal, thank you for creating this website! I was trying to find the perfect site to add profiles for my Benji and JayJay, and decided this was the best place to do so. Anyways, about mixed breeds, I noticed the "Teddy Bear", also known as "Zuchons" and "Shichons" don't have a page. Can a page be added about this breed, along with personality and info? Thanks for reading.

Anonymous designer dogs 1 Jun 22 2007, 7:00 AM EDT by ShurePets

I think it is really sad that our world has become so materialistic that now people are creating "designer dogs" There are millions of these poor mixed breed dogs being euthanized or put in shelters everyday, but instead of giving these dogs deserving homes people have to buy from pet shops or puppy mills the "Designer" breeds. I really wonder what the idea is behind some of these breeds as a vet tech and shelter worker I'm not impressed with the temperments or personalities coming out of some of this mixed-breeding.
