Hi All!

I'd like to introduce myself as Yatahae. I'm one of the site moderators here on WikiFido, and I'm here because I like to help people learn more about dogs. Canine coat color genetics is my addiction. Any questions concerning coat color genetics, please ask and I'll be more than happy to help you.

I have invested my entire life to animals, worked my way through (and graduated) college (studying biology, genetics, and agriculture) and have many years experience in working livestock ranches, farming and in Law Enforcement, also working with the K-9 team. With all this experience, college and hands-on -- I still learn something new every day, because all dogs are individuals and teach me something new every time I meet them. I read alot of dog books, research countless behavioral, training, and medical care topics and never stop wanting to learn something new.

I currently raise and train Working Kelpies and German Coolies for the purpose of herding livestock. However; I do love any dog no matter the breed, size, gender or color. If you ever have any questions about the site, or suggestions, please let me know! I'm here to help in any way I can so that we can all make this site ours together!
