Hi. I'm Alex and I work for Wetpaint. I don't have a dog right now, but am pondering one in the future. I had two great dogs growing up. Mort was my first - a mix of a shepard and collie. Mort, an apparently Jewish dog, was thrown a "bark mitzvah" for his thirteenth birthday. I think my parents were just looking for an excuse to have a party.

Our second dog, Turbo, was a black lab. Not the brightest bulb, what Turbo lacked in smarts he made up for in loyalty and friendliness. Recently my partner and I adopted Cooper - a lab and shepard mix.
