Sep 7 2006, 6:10 PM EDT There are a few places that you could add your dogs to get them more attention. A great first step would be to add your dogs to the Atlanta Dogs in Need page. Check out the Seattle Dogs in Need page for an example. Then I could take your dog info and post it on the homepage in the Dog Rescue section. Another alternative...wikiFido is growing everyday due to great people like yourself who are dog lovers extraordinaire. If you are interested, I could raise your status to "moderator" which would allow you to take an even more active role in wikiFido in general. You'd be able to help regulate the site to keep it in tip top shape, and access the homepage, where you could keep the section that is dedicated to Dog Rescue for now, up to date with interesting information about Dog Rescue and include feature profiles of your dogs who need help or homes...maybe add interesting articles that would help more people learn about Dog Rescue & how they can get involved... Anyhow, let me know what you think! So glad to have you onboard! Do you find this valuable? |

The way I look at it the more places the doggies are the better chance they have of being adopted. Do you find this valuable? |

Sep 7 2006, 8:08 PM EDT Absolutely right! And, the more we can educate people about how rescue works & about the great dogs that have just found themselves in unfortunate circumstances, the better! I'm heading on over and your status should be changed by the time you read this... Thanks for taking a more active role in things...feel free to edit to your heart's content and put any new ideas that you have in to play... As a moderator, it's also really great to welcome new members on the site & it would be wonderful if you could add to your own profile to tell people a little bit about yourself & your background.
