Moosonee Puppy Rescue

We save pups from being live trapped and shot as a method of population control. Many of the dogs we rescue have also been abandoned, abused and neglected. Children in northern communities can actually be the worst offenders. Our dogs have never been valued, appreciated or respected - until they come to us. They allow us to make up for all they have suffered and they love us despite their harsh beginnings. Northen dogs stand apart somehow from all others in calmness and intelligence - perhaps because only the strong survive where they come from. Most of the dogs we rescue are puppies and we are grateful for each and every one of them.
