My dog's name: Alis Vicona (AH-LEES VICK-0H-NA)

Hometown: Cochrane, Alberta


How we met: Alis was imported from the Czech Republic in 2004. She was cAlis Vicona, CNDD - wikiFido-Dog Breeds, Rescuesertified with us as a Narcotic Detector Dog Unit that year through Worldwide Canine in Texas.


What makes my dog special: Alis is certified in Narcotics Detection, Tracking, Patrol and Personal Protection.

My dog's likes/dislikes: Alis loves to work for the Kong, and she'll eat anything although she's not supposed to (she's allergic to wheat and corn). She loves to play with Jagger (our bomb detector dog) and Beans (our yorkie).

That is quite a background that you have there, Alis! I believe that as far as I recall, you are the first Narcotics dog on the site!! What a cool and important job you have! I also can't believe that you have a bomb-detector pal, and a little yorkie friend to boot! What a group--got any group pictures???

So tell us more about your important work? I'd love to hear more about what you do. Also do you have pictures or could you make a page for Jagger and Beans also? I bet you've got some cool stories to tell! Can't wait to hear more!
