High kill shelters kill more dogs and puppies than they adopt out. Basically these dogs do not have a chance at finding a new home. Please, if you are looking for a new pet, consider one of the above dogs or one at your local shelter. Without you they have no one to help them.

 | Hi, I am a very sweet very special yellow labrador retriever. I have ended up at the shelter and now I will be put down if no one comes to get me. I am scared and alone but, still find it in my heart to give kisses and love to anyone who comes over to greet me. I am in a rural shelter so my chances are very slim. Please help me if you can.  | SUPER URGENT NO TIME LEFT HURRY HELP ME I am in the Barrow County animal control shelter in Winder, Georgia. I have been injured and had to have part of my paw removed. Since I have been here no one has showed any interest in me at all. I am so scared I know my hours are numbered and I fear I will be put to sleep. Why isn't anyone willing to help me? Those dogs were featured on the Needful Souls website. A few months ago I adopted a little toy poodle from that website. The people that run it are so wonderful. If you can't adopt, you can sponsor a dog, and they will takie it out of the shelter and put it in a foster home. Thier web address is needfulsouls.org.

Brings tears to my eyes to see them and know if no one comes for them, they will be gone forever :(((
I would adopt them all if possible. |
