Mud Puppies is a dogwash, playcare, boarding, and grooming facility located in north Austin near Lakeline Mall. They provide doggie daycare services, as well as over night boarding. Boarding is $26 a night (discounts avail. for multiple dog families). Playcare is $16 a day (discounts avail. for multiple dog families). Discounted pre-paid passes are available to save you some money in the long run. They have 2 indoor, and air conditioned playgrounds for your pups to interact and play. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable . They also have a self service dogwash, and grooming services provided by the juicy Heather Ford. Check them out.

Dog Boy's Dog Ranch

2615 Crystal Bend Dr, PflugervilleDog Boy's is HUGE! It's located outside of Pflugerville, so if you're coming from Austin it can be a long drive. However, it's completely worth it. They have several acres of land with an agility course, several fenced-in pens for play groups, a hiking trail and pond for swimming, and a good sized, climate controlled kennel for overnight boarding. Prices are comparable to any day care or boarding facility at $20/day or $30/overnight. The only thing that is iffy with this place is the failure to place packs together. Groups are formed by playstyle, decided on an introductory evaluation. When my 2 closely bonded dogs go there, they are not placed in the same playgroup. This makes one of the dogs very anxious and he has repeatedly tried to get through the fences to my other dog, mildly injuring himself. 715 S. LamarA favorite among many, the staff is friendly and very dog-savvy. They require an evaluation day to determine how your dog will interact with other attendees. Playgroups are divided according to dogs' play style. There is an indoor kennel area for overnight boarding, or daytime doggy daycare is also available. Pricing is $20/day or $30/overnight, comparable to most daycares and boarding facilities. Nice, shaded and fenced play area behind the main building.
