Austin Dog Parks on DogPublic.com - Austin are dog parks with photos and addresses
Located off of Lake Austin Blvd and Red Bud Trail, the entire park is leash free. It's at the top of the list for many. It boasts a large play area, walking trail, and a large, unknown number of coves and entrances into Town Lake, which surrounds the park on 3 sides. One of the greatest things about this park is that there are no other attractions, such as picnic tables or play areas, so just about everyone who goes there is there with a dog. |
Auditorium ShoresLocated in downtown Austin. The leash free area runs from Riverside/S 1st all they way to Riverside/Bouldin. This includes the hike and bike trail between those areas. Auditorium shores provides several activities, including a gigantic open play area, access to Town Lake for swimming, and of course the aforementioned hike & bike trail- which runs for several miles beyond Auditorium Shores in each direction. |

| Turkey Creek Trail - A 3-mile hike that follows a creek. It is great when there is water in the creek. My dogs loves to run ahead and lay in the water and wait for me. It is off-leash and most of the people I encounter have dogs with them. So it is great for socializing your dog. It is located on the way to Emma Long Park off to the right. |
