How we met: I emailed an organization on petfinder.com about a puppy. The person I spoke to said that she was on her way from North Carolina to New York with rescues and could stop at my house on the way so I could meet him. He came to my home and never left.

What makes my dog special: His amazing personality. He loves hugs and brings me flowers from his walks and trips to the bathroom.

My dog's likes/dislikes: Axl loves wrestling with other puppies, digging in sand and dirt, walking a million miles and hour, playing hide and seek, and when I sing. He's the only living creature that likes when I sing. He is not crazy about people he has not met before. Children make him nervous at first.
