Avalon Coolies
These Coolies live in Canada and make their home in beautiful British Columbia. They are the first of their kind in Canada and are perfect examples to start off this breed in the country. Imported from Australia and USA they are a great representation of the breed and will make for fine foundation dogs when the Avalon breeding program starts in late 2009. We have started them on sheep and look forward to this spring and summer for more intensive training. Check back for updates, thank you for looking at our kids :P

Hello, I'm researching the Coolie breed (if it is an actual breed) and trying to find out some information on the breed, because I'm looking for a dog breed that doesn't have millions of health problems. And can you tell me why some are called Coolies that have a 5+ generation, but then some are also called a Coolie when they are a cross? Are you a breeder? Can you tell me how your Coolie gets along with other dogs, cats, kids, adults, or other animals? Are they easy or hard to train? Are they normally hard headed or soft? Are they intense or clowns? I keep asking breeders, but none are willing to help me.
Thanks in advance!
