Breed: Betty is a cross between German Wirehaired Pointer and German Shorthaired Pointer.

Born: Betty was born on 3 July 2003 in Montana, Bulgaria. I got her as a present. Her mother, a German Shorthaired Pointer, is liver-coloured, like Betty without the white markings. Her name's Betty, too. Her father, a German Wirehaired Pointer, is liver and white with long wire coat. His name is Rino. The litter consists of 10 puppies - two shorthaired and eight wirehaired. Betty was the smallest pup, but now she is the biggest, even bigger than the males. And she is the best trained from the litter, too!

Why Fido: I got her by accident. I didn't expect to have a dog but one day, 6 September 2003, my family surprised me when I came from work. Тhey told me to go in the back yard and I saw a cute little puppy sniffing around. When I saw her I hugged and kissed her, then my family and I started training her. The first thing was to test her personality and she had received a great score - she wasn't dominant, allowed to be turned around and to be watched in the eyes, very calm and not bothered by the new surroundings - the perfect dog. Now, when I've done a lot of training, the results can be seen. From ordinary tricks for entertainment to advanced obedience - that's what she can do!

What Fido likes:
favourite food - fruit and vegetables, but accepts everything
favourite toys - if it moves, it's worth being called a toy
favourite place - in my lap
