Booker
My dog's name: BookerHometown: Fort Lauderdale
How we met: Booker found us while I was surfing the 'net looking for a rescue dog, we met on American Black and Tan Coonhound Rescue
What makes my dog special: Booker was found by a vet who was on a hunting trip in South Carolina. Booker had been wandering the woods, was emaciated, covered in ticks and riddled with heartworm. After a couple months recovering at a the vet's clinic, Booker was placed by ABTCR with a foster dad in Alabama. He has come a really long way since his hunting days ... now Booker is retired to a luxury condo in downtown Fort Lauderdale. (click on the photo to read Booker's Blog!)
My dog's likes/dislikes: Booker loves running at the dog park, and wrestling with his dog friends. He likes sleeping in the sun on our 19th floor balcony (closely supervised!) and walking along the New River.
