My dog's name: Buddie Luv

My dog's breed(s): Chiweenie- (Chihuahua / Standardized Daschund mix). Buddie is the size of a Standardized Daschund. His face somewhat resembles a Chihuahua, but his body like a weener dog's. Buddie has the coloring of both a Chihuahua and a Daschund.

My dog's birthdate: February 6th, 2006

Hometown: Charlotte

How we met: Buddie was a stray. A friend of a friend found this cute little dog. This lady already rescued Boxers and had a few dogs of her own, and she couldn't keep him. She didn't want to send him to the pound, either. I saw a picture of this dog and fell in love with him instantly. I actually already had him named before we even saw him in person!!! So the next day, I took my other dog to meet him and see how they got along. Well, they got along fine, and we took Buddie home.

Why I love Buddie: Buddie is an adorable, loveable, sweet little dog. He loves to give big wet kisses and sit in your lap. He is also very hyper and has the fitting nickname, "Hyperweenie". He has other nicknames such as "Nut Mutt", "Tongue with Legs", "Chiweenershnitzel", "Snuggleweenie", and others. Buddie also has a 'voice activated tail'. You can say anything and he will start wagging his little curly tail. It is hilarious! He really is a funny little dog.

My dog's likes/dislikes: Buddie loves his toys and his best canine friend, Sadie, the Shepherd/Collie mix.On the other hand, he hates when you mess with his feet, he hates having his nails clipped, and he despises and terrorizes the cat.

Helpful Hint: If your dog likes to chew up your things, furniture, or other items, here is a possible solution. Buddie wouldn't stop chewing up my socks that were on the floor ready to be put in the dirty laundry. Finally, I got so tired of this that I gave him his own sock. He has never messed with any of my things again. Try giving your dog just a plain sock to play with. Buddie loves his sock!

Buddie's Favoite People: Buddie loves everyone, but his favorite people are his grandma, grandpa, myself, mommy, and daddy.
