Short History of the Breed:Cross between a Boston Terrier and a Pug. Physical Description & Size: Height: 10"-16"
Weight: females 10-20 lbs, males 15-25 lbs.
Lifespan: 10-15 years
Temperament:The Bugg gets the best of both breeds when it comes to temperament. They are playful and energetic, for a few minutes, then they want to sleep on your lap! Very easy to train and they love people and other animals.
Needs (exercise, grooming, living conditions, diet):Buggs from responsible breeders will exhibit "hybrid vigor" meaning they often have optimal health, often exceeding the nealth of purebred Boston Terrier or Pugs. However, if a breeder is irresponsible when mating, Buggs may exhibit some problems commonly associated with both Pugs and Boston Terriers, including corneal infections and respiratory problems.
Exercise is minimal, a brisk walk or a small yard will do, though needs may vary form dog to dog. These dogs overheat or chill very easily and should be kept indoors, extreme hot or cold can be deadly to this mixed breed. No special diet is required but don't overfeed! These dogs are real chow hounds and will eat anything anytime. There are no special grooming requirements.
