Chi Apso
the American Canine Hybrid Club, and sometimes they are more expensive than actual purebred dogs. The Hybrid breeds are not as commonly referred to by their original "Millionaire Mutts" status any longer because they are now featuring larger breeds including the "Goldendoodle" (Golden Retriever and Poodle) or "Labradoodle" (Labrador Retriever and Poodle).
The Chi Apso is a very lively, fun, spunky, friendly, sweet, and gentle dog. Though their body size tends to be larger like the Lhasa Apso, their hair color always tends to be golden brown like the Chihuahua, with a curled over tail like both breeds, as well as the face and ears of a Chihuahua. Though they do tend to be barkers and lickers like the Chihuahua (or any toy breed for that matter), they have wonderful hearts and get along very well with any small dog breed. They may tend to be more "stuck-up" towards larger dog breeds if they are not familiar with the other dog, but the belief they have in regards to their size (they think they are the size of Great Danes) helps in the sense that they don't tend to feel threatened by larger dogs.
The Chi Apso is an excellent choice for a companion. They generally weigh anywhere from 10 to 25 pounds depending on the size of their parents and the breed associated with either the mother or father. Chi Apsos can be rather expensive if purchased from a breeder because they are so rare in the new Hybrid lines, but if you find a reputable breeder, don't think twice!
