My question is this...The male she is bred to is also mine, a champion bloodline chihuahua and I've never had the male around the female he was bred to during pregnancy. This one is due to I moved and I refuse to put them outside as my other chipoo, babygirllove was killed by a car the first time I let her outside. Will the male hurt curlysue? He plays alot and I'm afraid he will hurt her...She has become increasingly snappy with him. Is now a good time to separate them? What about after the pups are born? Will he be aggressive to them? I had him when my lab had her last litter and he was more like a protector of the pups as I had to nurse them myself and they were inside as well....He didn't hurt them but with the loss of babygirllove, my male has changed and become very attached to me...He bites if he thinks anyone is getting any attention except him....Just never had this occur before...Any suggestions? Thank you

I adore my chipoos! They are all so different in looks and temperment but they are the smartest dogs I have ever owned. If I had more room I'd have a houseful.

I went to buy a pig and came home with a Choodle! She is 7 months now and is the best dog ever!! She loves my 4 year old and plays well with my other big dogs! I have severe allergies to dogs....she sleeps right next to my pillow and I have never had a reaction to her in any way!

I also have 2 chipoos. I LOVE them! The are very smart, energetic and love to cuddle and play. I would definitely recommend this breed to everyone. I have many pictures of them. Check them out at www.chipoo.net!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my little chipoo. At 5 months she was completely potty trained. Ive been able to teach her quite a few commands and shes not even 1 year old just yet, shes definitely gotten the fetch part down. Full of energy and loves to cuddle. I would recommend a chipoo to anyone. Mine is completely brown with white paws, brownish-hazel eyes, and little brown nose.

I am a lucky chipoo mom! My little baby is 6 mos old and her name is Sunday. Her mother was a poodle & daddy a chihuahua. She is the happiest little sweetheart you could ever imagine. She has totally stolen my heart. Please post more pics of your babies as they grow! Hugs - Bonnie
