How we rescued Buddie from going to the pound
We have a dog named Buddie. He is a chiweenie. A friend of a friend of a friend found Buddie one day when he walked into their house. They thought he was really cute, but they already had a big St. Bernard, and this dog didn't like Buddie. They were going to take him to the pund if they didn't find a new home for him in 2 weeks. The people contacted their friend and told her about Buddie. She couldn't keep him because she already rescued Boxers and had 5 dogs of her own. She contacted her friend who contacted me about Buddie. I took my dog, Sadie, to meet Buddie and see if they got along. They did, so we took Buddie home.
