Clay Aiken loves dogs—notably his Border terrier, Raleigh—but has a fear of cats. In a July 2003 article in Rolling Stone Aiken discussed accidentally running over his kitten and watching it die, saying, "There's nothing worse to me than a house cat. When I was about sixteen, I had a kitten and ran over it. Seeing that cat die, I actually think that its spirit has haunted me. I wasn't afraid of cats before. But now they scare me to death."

If you really want to get a lot of hits to the Clay Aiken page, fix the breed name error and clarify that the statement attributed to Clay by PETA was taken out of context. He hates cats because he accidently ran over a childhood pet, and he is still haunted by the experience.
You might also add that Clay often purchased a first class airline ticket for Raleigh when he first adopted him, so he wouldn't have to fly in the cargo bay! Make the corrections and watch the hits skyrocket as the page is spread throughout Clay Nation! PS - Raleigh is a cutie! |

Raleigh is a border terrier. Clay was traumatized by an accident that killed his pe cat. PETA needs to check their facts before trying to score points off any celebrity if they want to retain any credibility.
