- Kuvasz Fanciers of America Good information about the breed temperament, photos, breed rescue.
- American Kennel Club (AKC) – The official registrar for all recognized dog breeds in the US. The AKC also oversees all national dog clubs and provides information on national clubs for specific breeds.
- United Kennel Club (UKC) – Founded in 1898, the UKC is the world’s largest performance dog registry and second oldest all-breed registry in the US.
- Westminster Kennel Club (WKC) – One of the oldest dog clubs in America. The WKC also hosts the popular and prestigious Westminster Dog Show every year.
- National Kennel Club (NKC) – Since 1970 the National Kennel Club (NKC) has operated to help dog owners register any purebred dog. The NKC has been fair and impartial to all breeders, dog owners, and the various breeds they represent. With the NKC rare breeds may be shown with equal status as well as the major breeds. The NKC licenses all-breed dog shows, events for Coon Dogs, Beagles, Squirrel Dogs, Bird dogs, Fox dogs, Licensed Dog Kennels, Show Judges, and other dog related-events.
- Mixed Breed Dog Clubs of America (MBDCA) – Mixed Breed Dog Clubs of America (MBDCA) is a national registry for mixed breeds, providing many of the same opportunities that the American Kennel Club (AKC) offers for purebreds.
- Federation Cynologique Internationale (FCI) – The Fédération Cynologique Internationale is the World Canine Organisation. It includes 80 members and contract partners (one member per country) that each issue their own pedigrees and train their own judges. The FCI makes sure that the pedigrees and judges are mutually recognized by all the FCI members.
