My dog's breed(s): Queensland Red Heeler (Australian Cattle Dog)/Corgi
Hometown: Fort Collins, Colorado
How we met: I was looking for a puppy on 1800SAVEAPET.com, and saw his adorable picture. He was being held by the local animal control worker and faced an uncertain future. I made the decision to drive all the way to Nebraska in a blizzard to pick up my little furball. We met the animal control lady in the Wal-Mart parking lot in Sidney, Nebraska. She had one other pup besides Cooper with her, and while the other pup seemed mainly concerned with food, Cooper came over to us and seemed more people-oriented. When we picked him up he just went slack, completely calm in our arms, and we knew we'd found our dog.
My dog's likes: Cooper enjoys shoes, socks, feet, shoe paraphernalia, ransacking trash bins, chewing, licking your teeth, up your nose and in your eyes, eating flowers, going for walks, pillows, chewing the fuzz off of tennis balls, destroying things, "deconstructionalist" artworks, dog parks, and herding other dogs, geese, or small children.
My dog dislikes: Water, things around his neck (probably due to a traumatic past), hoses, having his ears bitten, having air blown up his nose.
