Short History of the Breed
In the year 1955 a biological experiment took place in the CSSR of that time,Physical Description and Size
Firm type in constitution. Above average size with rectangular frame. In body shape, movement, coat texture, colour of coat and mask, similar to the wolf. Height at Withers: Dogs at least 65 cm, Bitches at least 60 cm. Temperament
Lively, active, tough, obedient with quick reactions, fearless and courageous. Shows tremendous loyalty towards his master. Resistant to weather conditions. Versatile in his uses. CLASSIFICATION F.C.I.: > Group 1 (Sheepdogs and Cattle Dogs)

Dog Care
Requires a lot of exercise, training and proper socialisation in early age. Very intelligent dog and for that reason, not easy to handle for beginners.Health Issues and Life Expectancy
Generaly healthy, hip-dysplasia must be controlled. Lives up to 13 years, sometimes even up to 15.Additional Resources
