Daisy, the American Cocker Spaniel Party MixThis is a featured page

This is Daisy. She's almost three years old and is a Southern California girl. She's amazingly sweet, responsive, wonderful with children and patient. Somewhat excitable, she suffers from what many cockers do - piddling from the sheer joy of meeting someone. So, we're working on long sit- stay behaviors, and it's had a very positive effect. Her markings are very distinct, with predominant black and white spots, a symmetrical crown with a shock of white hair, offsetting her dotted muzzle. It's not clear in the pictures but she also has flecks of light brown in her leg coloring. This makes her a Tri-Colored-Party-Female - very AKC.

Daisy - 2 year old female party mix! What a sweetheart!

Daisy is one of three dogs in the household - but definitely the "brains" of the operation. She romps with our two 100+ pound Golden Retrievers, and taunts them into wrestling with each other while seizing the opportunity to snag the tennis ball.

Daisy has the toughest ear problem - requires cleaning twice a week - if not, panalog cream, ear infections, pills... dark brown wax too - and she's so sad when it happens. Anybody out there have any ideas? She's always clean - bathed at the groomer every month, and shaved for So. Cal. summer heat.

Say what you will about cockers, when their ears perk up when they look at you, one would be hard pressed not to melt! I grew up with cockers and they are such cute and happy pooches! Your puppy is no exception!
