boXER MIX (AMERICAN BULLDOG?)
adopted 3/07 from denver dumb friends league FEMALE APPROX 2.5 YEARS. SPAYED SWEET, LOVING, LOYAL, ENERGETIC, TRAINED mADDY IS SEEING A BEHAVIORIST FOR FEAR AGGRESSION WHICH SHE HAS DISPAYED 3X'S IN 1.5 YEARS. EVEN THOUGH IT IS RARE, We realize our home is not a good fit for her (small, alone most of the day, no backyard) looking for a good, loving home with lots of space! PLease write back if you can help or have any suggestions! thank you! |

Our Boxer, Maddy is currently at Denver DumbFriends League, waiting to be euthanized on Saturday 11/15. We are honest people, and if we truly felt Maddy was a danger, we would accept her fate. She does NOT deserve to be euthanized!
Maddy has occasionaly displayed fear aggression - 2x's nipping at men in our home. Recently, she bit a guest in our home in a tight corridor, just as the lights went out.She jumped up and bit our friend on his chin. This bite did draw blood. Her other two did not. We understand that this behavior is unacceptable and want to do the responsible thing for both Maddy, ouselves and others. Bottom line is~ this dog is awesome. We take the aggression seriously, but also recognize that there are things in her environment that might provoke it (lack of excersize, min.space, O backyard, alone often,) If we could afford a behaviorist, or a bigger home, we would, but at this time we are unable to provide what she deserves. If you can help, or know anyone who might- PLEASE do not hesitate to call us! If you have questions, or need more info...PLEASE do not hesitate to call us...ANYTIME! We are on borrowed time. The shelter will return her to us after the quarantine period- we realize we cannot keep her, but need to find her a good, loving home with space! I thank you for your time and pray that we save Maddy! Sincerly, Kerin |

WAITING TO DIE? We can do better than that for darling Trixie in the Irving Shelter in Texas! She is so beautiful, so sad, let's help give her the life she deserves by FORWARDING FORWARDING FORWARDING. You don't have to be in Texas, near Texas, or have ever visited Texas! Forward on! Six degrees of separation is not just the name of a charity! Or, Foster, Sponsor, Adopt! LET HER LIGHT UP YOUR LIFE! > > Trixie is a very friendly, waggy girl. She gets along good with other dogs and she craves attention from people. She always greets with her wagging dance and lots of licks. Trixie has been spayed and is current on all of her vaccinations. She is about 8 months old and weighs approx. 30 lbs. She has a couple of small spots of demodex. Her time is up on Monday (2/4)....she is scheduled for euthanasia at close of business. Trixie's tracking number is 3505. Can someone find a place for young Trixie?
