| Did you know that everyday thousands of dogs cats puppies and kittens are killed in animal control shelters. Due to over breeding and those who do not spay or neuter shelters are over flowing with animals that are doomed. Some are killed via gas chambers which can take up to 30 minutes of pure hell before they die, others are put down using lethal injection while some endure the heart stick. The heart stick is a practice where a person stabs the animal in the heart with a needle. Most of the time it doesn't work as the person misses because the animal is still fully conscience and trying to get away. They should be sedated before this is administered, but that doesn't happen.. I am sure you can imagine how horrible it can be for the animals who go through this torture. Please take the time to visit the site to left to see pets that are currently facing death right now. Also check out the great dogs available from rescues below. Many of them were rescued from kill shelters and now need homes. You may not think that rescuing one dog from the shelter makes a difference when so many are killed, but just know it makes a huge difference to the one you adopted. |

LIBERTY COUNTY ANIMAL CONTROL – HINESVILLE, GEORGIA EUTHANASIA DATE: Any Day due to Over Crowding – Tiny Facility SPONSORSHIPS APPRECIATED!!! TRANSPORT TO ATLANTA AVAILABLE!!! If you would like more information about one of the animals below, please contact jen.ellis88@yahoo.com or newbeginningsanimalrescue@gmail.com We have personally interacted with each one of these dogs. Our descriptions are straight forward! Our conscience would not allow ud to hold anything back, and we would never give false information to save an animal, because it would only result in it being returned. You will never find vicious/dangerous animals on our listings! Usually, little or none is known about these dogs' medical history. It is a sad fact that a majority of them were abandoned by military families, which means they are most likely up-to-date on their shots, heartworm negative, and generally healthy; however, we cannot guarantee that, which is why each dog must receive prompt veterinary care after adoption/rescue takes place. Spaying or neutering by 6 months of age is a MUST!!! Unless the dogs go to a rescue or out of state adopters a spay/neuter voucher must be purchased from us. You can get more detailed information and pricing by visiting SNAC (Spay/Neuter Alliance Clinic) at www.snac1.com or by calling 843-645-2500. Your help with adopting, rescuing, or fostering these dogs is immensely appreciated, as is your help with cross posting to others who may be able to help save a life. dogs posted in my next post

Tibetan Mastiff mix! We are very concerned about Theodore because he is such a large dog and large dogs always seem to be amongst the last to get the attention they so desperately need… or not at all. Theodor deserves your attention because he is highly adoptable and so unique looking. He has a “coat of many colors” and gets along very well with other dogs. He is housed with another large boy and the two of them are a joy to watch out in the field. They play fight and are very gentle with each other. Theodore seems to be around 2-3 years old. The reason we think that he may be mixed with Tibetan Mastiff is simple; just Google the breed and you will see. Theo loves to get attention from humans, even the little humans. Please give this boy a chance before it’s too late and his bright flame will be snuffed out by a cold needle. Save Ramsey (EXTRA URGENT!!!) Heartworm Positive. Ramsey has a super sweet personality and is only medium in size, I guess that’s what caught the eye of the no kill shelter, but when he tested positive for heartworms he was place backed on death row. He is a bit skinny and could definitely stand to gain a few pounds. Though it seems that food is not the first item on his agenda; I believe that would be petting first, kissing second, hugging third, and maybe food somewhere down the line. Ramsey has a gorgeous fawn colored coat with no hair-loss, scars or scabs. His eyes are like warm amber glinting in the sunlight. He appears to be a young dog between 1 and 2 years old. Ramsey is good with other dogs and great with kids. He never once jumped up on my little boy! Please don’t sentence him to death because he is heartworm positive. |
