MY NOTES:
After carefully reading through this Breeder Code of Ethics I wish to point out a few things that some Goldendoodle breeders are not complying with and prospective customers should be very cautious about.

The Breeder will ensure that they have the necessary time, facilities and resources
to properly care for the all the dogs on their property.
One particular Goldendoodle breeder who generously advertises on the web apparently does not have the time, facilities nor the resources to properly care for her dogs. This particular breeder 'houses' her dogs in a large, metal shed on a very small lot in a trailer park. The 'kennels' have no air conditioning nor heat source.
The Breeder will provide quality shelter, nourishment, grooming, exercise,
proper socialization, health protection and veterinary care for all the dogs.
This same Goldendoodle breeder does not provide any exercise nor socialization. Because the breeder's property is crowded and small, there is no exercise area or dog run. The puppies are not socialized with other animals nor humans.
The Breeder will never sell, give or trade their breeding dogs Labradoodles or Goldendoodles to a research laboratory, pet shop, broker, and dealer or to anyone known to sell to such enterprises.
This same Goldendoodle breeder has been accused of operating a puppy mill.
The Breeder will never abandon or place their breeding dogs, Labradoodles
or Goldendoodles (dogs or puppies) in a shelter, pound, SPCA, Humane Society
or similar facility.
This same Goldendoodle breeder recently surrendered ten adult dogs to the local animal shelter because these dogs did not sell last year.
The Breeder will perform due diligence in selecting and pairing their
breeding dogs, and will perform at a minimum, hip testing on medium
and standard size breeding dogs. Hip testing is optional for miniature breeding dogs.
This Goldendoodle breeder states in the purchasing application and contract that no hip testing is done nor is it necessary.Nor shall the Breeder knowingly breed any dog that has received poor test scores
for condition(s) that can potentially affects the health and long term quality of life
of the puppies.
This Goldendoodle breeder knowingly sold Parvo infected puppies to unsuspecting customers. This breeder did not sterilize the property as required by the Health Department. The Breeder will only breed dogs with balanced temperaments.
(Extreme shyness or aggressiveness will not be bred.)
This Goldendoodle breeder has knowingly bred aggressive dogs and sold the puppies to unsuspecting customers. The Breeder's facility shall, at some point in the purchase of a puppy,
be available for viewing by the buyer. The Breeder can restrict the conditions,
area and time available for such viewing in order to protect the health of their dogs.
This Goldendoodle breeder refuses to allow anyone to view the kennels and the property. The property is hidden behind a six foot privacy fence. This Goldendoodle breeder delivers the sold puppies to the customer in an area away from the kennels. This Goldendoodle breeder also ships puppies by using the airlines. By doing this, the customer is unable to see the kennels and property. The Breeder will provide the Health Warranty (either electronic or paper)
to any person considering one of their dogs. A deposit or commitment is
not required for this information.
This Goldendoodle breeder requires payment in full along with the application. No refunds are offered for any reason. NO exceptions!Contact them in the event that they can no longer keep the doodleThis Goldendoodle breeder clearly states in the application and contract that if for any reason the dog must be re-homed or given up, it is the responsibility of the owner (purchaser) to find a suitable home for the puppy or dog. The animal is not to be returned to us. (Goldendoodle breeder). The Breeder will strive to be easy to talk to, eager to answer questions,
responsive in returning calls or e-mails in a timely manner.
The Breeder will refrain from any deceptive advertising and will be honest and professional
when dealing with other breeders, potential doodle owners and doodle owners.
This Goldendoodle breeder has numerous complaints posted on the Internet by unhappy former customers and those merely inquiring about purchasing from this breeder. Several callers accused the breeder as being: rude, nasty, bossy, hateful, demanding, difficult and down-right awful.
NOTE:
The purchasing policies located on this Goldendoodle's website is not only difficult to read because much of the text overlaps and the site was poorly designed and extremely distracting with too many advertisements, flashing icons and nonsense. The purchasing contract is not only difficult to read, it is long, confusing and redundant. The breeder makes it very clear several times that there will be NO REFUNDS!!! There is even a statement that reads: "Leave your ego at the door!". I'm not quite sure what that means nor why it is included in a dog contract but that statement is only one of many that makes no sense.
If you wish to contact me for the name, address, phone number and website address of this Goldendoodle breeder, I will be more than happy to reply.
