LIBERTY COUNTY ANIMAL CONTROL – HINESVILLE, GEORGIA EUTHANASIA DATE: Any Day due to Over Crowding – Tiny Facility SPONSORSHIPS APPRECIATED!!! TRANSPORT TO ATLANTA AVAILABLE!!! If you would like more information about one of the animals below, please contact jen.ellis88@yahoo.com or newbeginningsanimalrescue@gmail.com We have personally interacted with each one of these dogs. Our descriptions are straight forward! Our conscience would not allow ud to hold anything back, and we would never give false information to save an animal, because it would only result in it being returned. You will never find vicious/dangerous animals on our listings! Usually, little or none is known about these dogs' medical history. It is a sad fact that a majority of them were abandoned by military families, which means they are most likely up-to-date on their shots, heartworm negative, and generally healthy; however, we cannot guarantee that, which is why each dog must receive prompt veterinary care after adoption/rescue takes place. Spaying or neutering by 6 months of age is a MUST!!! Unless the dogs go to a rescue or out of state adopters a spay/neuter voucher must be purchased from us. You can get more detailed information and pricing by visiting SNAC (Spay/Neuter Alliance Clinic) at www.snac1.com or by calling 843-645-2500. Your help with adopting, rescuing, or fostering these dogs is immensely appreciated, as is your help with cross posting to others who may be able to help save a life. dogs posted in my next post

I can only fit 2 dogs here. They have no petfindr site. Please e-mail contact in first post if you a re interested in helping. They have lab mixes, hounds, PB and more. They can send pics. 8/19 euth date
Tibetan Mastiff mix! We are very concerned about Theodore because he is such a large dog and large dogs always seem to be amongst the last to get the attention they so desperately need… or not at all. Theodor deserves your attention because he is highly adoptable and so unique looking. He has a “coat of many colors” and gets along very well with other dogs. He is housed with another large boy and the two of them are a joy to watch out in the field. They play fight and are very gentle with each other. Theodore seems to be around 2-3 years old. The reason we think that he may be mixed with Tibetan Mastiff is simple; just Google the breed and you will see. Theo loves to get attention from humans, even the little humans. Please give this boy a chance before it’s too late and his bright flame will be snuffed out by a cold needle. Save Ramsey (EXTRA URGENT!!!) Heartworm Positive. Ramsey has a super sweet personality and is only medium in size, I guess that’s what caught the eye of the no kill shelter, but when he tested positive for heartworms he was place backed on death row. He is a bit skinny and could definitely stand to gain a few pounds. Though it seems that food is not the first item on his agenda; I believe that would be petting first, kissing second, hugging third, and maybe food somewhere down the line. Ramsey has a gorgeous fawn colored coat with no hair-loss, scars or scabs. His eyes are like warm amber glinting in the sunlight. He appears to be a young dog between 1 and 2 years old. Ramsey is good with other dogs and great with kids. He never once jumped up on my little boy! Please don’t sentence him to death because he is heartworm positive. |

Hello All,
Thank you Molly for sending this plea in my absense. I am back at the shelter now and I am totally overwhelmed. I could not have imagined the shelter could take in as many animals as it did while I was away. Our staff and volunteers have done everything to keep from euthanizing. There are cats/kittens in small carriers and dogs/puppies in every corner of the building. I am begging at this point and will continue until we find placement for the fur kids. PLEASE don't let any of these babies die. We need your help. Please contact the shelter at : Shelby County Animal Shelter 266 Kentucky St. Shelbyville, KY 40065 Phone: 502-633-0009 E-mail: animal.adopt@shelbycountykentucky.com If you can not pull or adopt, please cross post. Our Boxer, Maddy is currently at Denver DumbFriends League, waiting to be euthanized on Saturday 11/15. We are honest people, and if we truly felt Maddy was a danger, we would accept her fate. She does NOT deserve to be euthanized!
Maddy has occasionaly displayed fear aggression - 2x's nipping at men in our home. Recently, she bit a guest in our home in a tight corridor, just as the lights went out.She jumped up and bit our friend on his chin. This bite did draw blood. Her other two did not. We understand that this behavior is unacceptable and want to do the responsible thing for both Maddy, ouselves and others. Bottom line is~ this dog is awesome. We take the aggression seriously, but also recognize that there are things in her environment that might provoke it (lack of excersize, min.space, O backyard, alone often,) If we could afford a behaviorist, or a bigger home, we would, but at this time we are unable to provide what she deserves. If you can help, or know anyone who might- PLEASE do not hesitate to call us! If you have questions, or need more info...PLEASE do not hesitate to call us...ANYTIME! We are on borrowed time. The shelter will return her to us after the quarantine period- we realize we cannot keep her, but need to find her a good, loving home with space! I thank you for your time and pray that we save Maddy! Sincerly, Kerin |

I live in Garland, Tx. I am writing in regards to a stray dog (Flat Black Golden Retriever) that visits my street at least once a week. This week, I saw this poor guy and it was alarming as to his present condition. This guy is literally starving to death. He looks like he is on his “last legs”. He only comes out about once a week, from an opening between two houses that leads to an unpaved alley way. He is scared of people, and will bolt back down the alleyway if approached. This unpaved alleyway leads back to two different streets, so I DO NOT know where he goes during the time he isn’t on my street. I need some suggestions as to how to help this poor dog before he dies. He is abandoned, and I’m almost positive of where his original home is. I believe he ran when a storm blew down the back fence to his backyard approx. 6 months ago. This house backs up to where he comes out of each time, but he doesn’t stay in his old backyard, nor to the people seem to care about his whereabouts.
Any suggestions as to how to help this poor dog?????????????? Deborah Garland, Texas |

I just found out about a discount program for rescuers, shelters, and even breeders and kennels. One person said they were getting Innova at $54 for a 30-lb bag. This program is around $32 for a 40-lb bag and according to vet DogtorJ, this is one of the top three premium organic foods out there. I hope this helps those of you who are worried about how to protect the large numbers of animals that you watch over. http://safepetfood.wordpress.com

Rescue dogs are one of the greatest pets right now we have 11dogs that have came from a pound. and one that was bought off a puppy mill breeder to save her. In our dogs you can pic which one came out of the puppy mill without accually seeing her Our dogpound dogs seem to show that extra love when you are with them and it is great.

I recently fostered a dog for Ginger and I was impressed by her attentiveness to the dog's well-being and making sure the home he went to was just the right one for him. They say if you want to get something done, ask the busiest person you know, and Ginger is obviously a great demonstration of that philosophy!
