A dog's version of a childhood favorite.
Just substitute chicken or beef broth, homemade or right from the container.
Fill ice cube trays with the broth and freeze.
Makes an easy individual, fun, delicious and healthy treat that will keep your pup
both busy and cool.

Peanut Butter Snack 'UmsPreheat oven to 350°. Combine oil, peanut butter and water. Add Flour 1 cup at a time, then knead into firm dough. Roll dough to ¼ inch thickness and cut with small bone shaped cookie cutter. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes. Makes 2½ dozen.
2 tablespoons corn oil
½ cup peanut butter
1 cup water
1 cup whole wheat flour
2 cups white flour
Doggie-Delish Meatballs
Somebody shared this recipe with me on Dogster, and it's our dog's all time fave snack!
1/2 lb. ground beef
2 tbsp. grated cheese
1 carrot, finely grated
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 cup bread crumbs (whole wheat is healthiest)
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp. tomato paste
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine all ingredients together; mix thoroughly. Roll into meatballs - whatever size is appropriate for your dog. Place on a cookie sheet sprayed with non-fat cooking spray. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until they are brown and firm. Cool and store in the fridge or freezer.
