When you're walking a Vizsla - every day's a parade!

Vizslas are not a very common breed to see around Seattle so they get a lot of attention. And then if you're lucky enough to have a CUTE Vizsla, you're done for...you won't get more than two blocks withone someone stopping you to ask what kind of dog he or she is. Luckily my dog Fergal is absolutely convinced that everyone on the planet wants to be his friend.
I rescued Fergal, the cutest dog in the world, from the Colorado/Wyoming Vizsla rescue group in 2003, flying out to Denver and driving back with him in our cross-country adventure. If you go to the success stories pages on their site and scroll down, you can read more about our story there.
I used to work at Microsoft so Fergal spent a lot of time at Central Bark here in Seattle where he became a little bit of a celebrity. I have all the praise in the world to the wranglers at Central Bark - they are truly awesome.
Fergal's biggest claim to fame came during my time working at Expedia. I was doing a weekly travel spot on KONG morning television and I brought Fergal onto the show early one day when we were talking about pet-friendly travel. He behaved admirably and only licked his private parts for about half of the segment!
To know Fergal is to love Fergal - Vizslas are such good friends.
