Field Stock Service®

The American Kennel Club created the FSS® breed classification to allow these purebred breeds to continue to develop while providing them with the security of a reliable and reputable avenue to maintain their records. At this time, FSS® breeds cannot be registered with the AKC. However, some of these breeds can compete in AKC-sponsered Companion Events - Obedience, Agility, Tracking and Rally.
