Go to a clean kill shelter-save a healthy dog. I was deemed unsuitable to adopt a hound because I was 66-too old; my son is a disabled vet.-too frail; I was asked where I'd keep a hound-in or out. I told them any place the hound D#@* well wanted to be-I'm not a pack leader; if they did let me have one- they could come out any time they wanted and take the hound away if they saw anything they didn't like with anything. Basically-people would rather kill dogs then give people and the dogs a chance. Well, Missy is on my bed. Stonewall is a few feet from me on one of many of the dog beds around. They had 6 hours to be adopted-their euthanization was already scheduled-but a volunteer took a chance and posted them. They decided to give us a chance but several workers were saying the hounds would be in a shelter in less than a week. That was March 19, 2008. The dogs were feral and didn't know nothing-they are still learning-but they walk on a hillbilly coupler-so my legs don't fall off-they've routed burglers in the whole area and the cops and mailpersons love them--Stonewall tries to check the house before we go to bed-They think that they're pillows for toddlers-Go see the album the "Hound Chronicles" on how misfit people and misfit dogs can thrive. Stonewall-the handsome dude to the right was supposed to be psychotic and unable to react. He stood up on his hind feet and gentley leaned on my son's chest and looked into my son's eyes. My son thinks that Stonewall really understands the English language. It took about 90 days before they'd look up when we said their names. They never had a name before-they never had humans before. Many, many people in rescue groups are saints-but there have been other complaints about some people that take advantage of peoples' desire to do the right thing and do wrong to the dogs. Here, most dogs are on concrete, asphalt, hard packed dirt, or gravel.

Really and how would you know that did you check it against other websites which URL's did his website come from? So I guest
those are not his dogs? Do you have any proof or are you just spreading rumors. It's easy to say things when you sign it as Anonymous if what you say is true why didn't you put your name on it?

German Shepherds are wonderful family dogs and generally do really well with kids. However, it's important that you find a dog from a reputable place - either a reputable breeder or a reputable rescue - who can help you find a dog with the right kind of temperament and drive to fit into your family.
