German Shepherd Rescue - Add some spice with Cayenne

German Shepherd Rescue - Add some spice with Cayenne - Dogs & Dog RescueCafe Cayenne
Unique spicy beauty needs a home

Are you looking for something unique, indescribable, one of a kind? Are you tired of living in a generic, cookie-cutter world where everything and everybody seem to be the same? Are you looking for some genuine love in your life?

Before you start looking for the name of the dating service, this is regarding a DOG. Maybe you don’t think of dogs this way. Then you need to meet Cayenne.

Cayenne is a lady of intrigue with a family tree shrouded in mystery. In the black and tan world of German Shepherd Rescue, she is truly unique, with a glorious russet coat that glows with health. Her continuous wink invites you to share her private joke, and her grin assures that she is laughing along with you. Cayenne’s build makes her a great companion for long walks in the wild or socializing in a sidewalk café.

Maybe you think all dogs act the same? Cayenne’s sometimes spicy / most times sweet disposition will win you over almost as fast as her gentle hug. Cayenne never forgets a friend and loves people with an honest enjoyment; she is the “princess” of GSROC. She is probably one of the few dogs with a fan club, as quite a lot of people come up to volunteers specifically looking for “that sweet little one-eyed girl.”

This spicy gal does have some quirks. Cayenne doesn’t want to share her adoring public, she wants it ALL! She is looking for a home where she can be the center of attention without other animals – it is the prima donna in her nature. She is not a diva and is very eager to please, but there are some things she just doesn’t want to compromise on!

For all her winning ways, Cayenne has been with the rescue for a long time. Blame it on the whims of fame or just that Cayenne’s special qualities don’t shine to advantage in a sea of German Shepherds, this deserving doll needs a home. At four years old, she has spent at least one quarter of her life behind the bars of a kennel, unable to laze in the grass or enjoy the sun and breeze in her hair. In her few field trips with volunteers, she has shown remarkable poise and adaptability when taken out into the world outside. Her leash and car manners are outstanding and she is a very good co-pilot. She can sit contentedly at your feet while you watch the kids at the soccer game, but her unusually timid reaction to loud large groups make us wonder about her past traumas. She is a fast learner in most areas, but it all comes down to what will she get out of it in the end. She is one smart little girl!
