I adopted my golden retriever Brandi, from the Humane Society..... She's 11 years old and her previous owners moved away and abandoned her. I had just lost my 11 year old golden, Gus, to cancer and his brother, Toby, wouldn't eat after he passed away so I took Toby to the shelter to meet his new "sister" and with his approval, we brought her home and they are both happy.. and even though we miss Gus, there's always room for more love!! My dogs are the best thing that ever happened to me. Everyone can learn something from a dog! Loyalty, Trust, Companionship, Forgiveness and UNCONDITIONAL LOVE!

My golden saved me and my baby sister from drowning. Our boat capsized in the middle of the lake and we thougt that was the end, but thanks to Layla, it was just the beginning of Sabrina's life.
