What makes my dog special? Always up for a romp, Stick is one of the easiest going dogs ever (even when Sophie is snarking at him because he has stole her sunny spot in the kitchen).

Seriously, owning a basenji is an amazing experience but only if you are willing to understand that they are not "dogs" and don't follow typical dog rules. They are aloof and stubborn. Life is done on their terms no one else's! If basenji's are so difficult then why own one? It takes a very special person to take care of these very special dogs. If you understand them then you will understand how clever and hilarious they are and how much they can enrich your life.
