my mom friend have 2 great danes and they (leaned) leaned over the fence and bit a little girl in the face and she got surgey she was only 2 years old i felt bad they r not good with children

A dog's behavior is a direct reflection of the owner. All dogs are capable of biting. A friend of mine had his tongue (yes, tongue) bit off by a cocker spaniel. On the whole, they ARE good with children as long as they are properly socialized and understand that they are a subordinate.
