Breed: He's a mixed breed dog

In Mexico City, maybe by the end of December 2003 or early January 2004.
He was born in a small house. Big litter.
Or did you get him from a pet store or rescue organization?
We met him in a cold night, early February 2005.
A man was selling two puppies outside a big, well-known supermarket. The puppies were wearing cute t-shirts. My sister saw the puppies and the man told us that they were small dogs. We pay 20 dlls (200 pesos approx.) for the puppy. We wanted the female but we mixed up and got the 'boy'. When we realised the mistake, we went back to change the puppies but the man was not there, so we took the puppy to the vet.
She told us that the puppy was sick, congested lungs and malnutrition. We took him home, when mummy and daddy saw him, they started to complain about the dog, but mummy took him and we told her he was sick and that his name was Boston, she didin't like the name and say: 'If you call him Harry Potter, he can stay.
After two weeks of medicine, food and love, the pup began to grow and become healthier. The vet said it was love and care.
Now, that tiny pup is the size of a Lab, energetic and lively. Loves to lick everybody and children are his favourite buddies. It was really love at first sight.


About his owners:
I live in Mexico City, in a big flat which has a small garden. I'm single, I'm 34 and I live with my parents and sister. However, Harry has a nice place to run. I also walk him everyday in the morning and in the evening, before I go to work and when I come back. I work as an editor in a publishing house for English and Spanish text books. I love my job!

Why Harry Potter?
My sister and I have had dogs all our live, but Potter is just 'special'. We have raised him with love, care and he is just someone who gives love. So sweet, never agressive, except if you bother children.
He's loyal and playful. He doesn't like very hot or cold weather.
