I have two Bangkaew dogs (they are Thai dogs) to guard my miniature Thai girlfriend. After seeing a Rottweiler with a headspan bigger than my chest and about as tall as myself back when I was carrying mail for a living I decided I never wanted one. Good luck though! The Bangkaew dogs are good guard dogs and pets (very loyal) when and if you're in Thailand (and some of them are imported to the U.S. as well).
