If Fifi gnaws gently on her chews, this may not be an issue. But if she chomps off big hunks and swallows with glee, you need to know about this. Dogs have died; owners have sued. The company says it will clarify package instructions and has offered monetary compensation to those who have lost pets. Wrong answer. How about changing the formulation of the things so they don't harm dogs? Here's a Chicago Tribune story:
