Hello,

My name is Heidi. But you can call me cutie-patutie. I am a 4 month old Yellow Lab/White Shepherd Mix. I was born on Halloween last year (10/31/06), which I guess is the reason my mom calls me Boo-Boo sometimes! But before I tell you all about myself, I am going to tell you how I fell into the loving arms of my mommy and daddy.

When I was 3 weeks old, I was found outside with my 3 brothers and 1 sister in the State of Tennessee. The pound that had brought us in was a high kill shelter. 80% of the pets that are in this shelter will be Euthinised before they're even adopted. I was so worried until I heard that there was someone in NH that wanted to adopt me. Once I was old enough to be adopted I was put into a more perminent shelter in the TN area. I was although seperated from my family, I knew they were in better homes.

Before I could be shipped to another state I had to have a wellness check, all my shots needed to be UTD and they had to make sure that I was well enough to make it across the states. When I was ready to go I was shipped to a Shelter in Southern NH. The following day my new family came to get me. They loved me as I loved them but I was just nervous after the trip. It was an awfully long drive before we got to their house in Northern NH.

When we finally walked in the door I was greeted by 2 cats and 4 little dogs. What was my new family thinking!!!??? Now I don't think I would have minded much if their previous dogs were big like I am going to be but they were all pip-squeeks!!! There were 2 Pom-fuzzy-things, 1 chiuahaua, which I think he wasn't shaved yet, he had long fur. And this old geezer yorkie. I don't think he could see very well because he had to be picked up and put near his food when it was time to eat. I tried to play with them all but they wanted nothing to do with me what so ever. Supposidly I had attacked the Geeze. But I was just trying to play, I SWEAR!!!

Bright and early the next morning I woke up and my new family kept me in the kitchen all morning while the woman was on the computer. From what I could hear, she was putting me on Craigslist because I attacked the Geeze. I really didn't I just wanted to play.

Around dinner time I heard a car pull up in the driveway. I was left in the Kitchen so my new family could get the door. Then 2 People walked in behind my new Family. At first I was scared but I came out and they were petting me like crazy...So I gave them a bunch of kisses. My family had put my collar and leash on me and the couple had taken me out of the house and I was put in the car on top of the womans lap. Once again it was a long ride back to a house. When I walked in I didn't know what to think. I started sniffing everything and there was a cat there! I thought to myself, oh no, here we go again. But I liked it because these people pet me all the time, they kept telling me that I was a good girl and they gave me as many kisses as I gave them. I soon came to realize that the family I was with before was not a real family, but that my family that I am with now is.

Smiles!I am a ham for the camera and I love attention. My mom tells me that I'm a good girl, but I know that I can be a rascal at times. I tend to get into the bathroom and lick the bottom of the shower once my mommy or daddy gets out. I get in trouble for that.







I have a sister named Cookie, but she's a cat. I'm trying to learn how to get along with her but every time I go to sniff her she bats me with her paws. She doesn't hurt me, meaning she doesn't use her claws, which I guess means she's getting used to me.






My mom finally found a dog park near our home that she takes me to on the weekends! I love it there. At first I was scared to go in because I heard bigger dogs barking and I'm still small. But my mom picked me up and brought me into the the fenced in area. For the first 5 minutes I was scared to death. All these dogs were running at me and sniffing me. I tried to stay right near my mommy. But once I realized that these dogs were not trying to hurt me I started playing with them. I had so much fun!!!
