How has your Dog Enriched Your Life? This is a featured page

At first it was unnerving to have her because we're not suppose to have pets where I live, however, the new contract I signed they removed the 'no pet' clause which I didn't argue with or question. Secondly, I found her outside our apartments one night (or rather she found me). Note: I live in Mexico and it is common to find throw away dogs here, and while it is not good to take them all in this one in particular stole my heart.) Thirdly, we're adjusting to each other quite well. She's been with me for a month now and I finally named her Ebony, she is a shepherd/collie mix and less than a year old. She is housebroken, and doesn't chew on things which is good, but she is still a puppy and new to living here with me so we're both learning. I had her spayed and she is up to date on all her shots. She loves rides in the car and the beach. She still needs to learn her name and basic commands, but that is coming with time and patience. I had started looking for a new home because of the restrictions here, but now that that has changed I am less stressed and I am sure she is also especially since she has learned this is her home now. I wouldn't change a thing.
