Named after the hero of To Kill a Mockingbird, Atticus Finch was adopted from L.A. animal shelter New Leash on Life by Jake Gyllenhaal and then-girlfriend Kirsten Dunst. When the couple split on good terms, Atticus remained with Gyllenhaal, but Dunst retained partial custody. Boo as Jake said on Ellen "Is a joy to have around and makes me smile everytime I see him."
