Julie and Chinook
Chinook is a breeder puppy that I got in September 1999, while Julie is a Seattle Purebred Rescue Dog rottie that came to me in November 2001.
Chinook is the typical male that loves to eat and loves to sleep on the couch. Julie is all girl-dog. She watches the house and barks at any creature that dares come near the house. She's never far from me.
In her 'old age' Julie has developed vitiligo and has white patches in her fur and some of her claws are translucent. There's nothing that can be done and it doesn't hurt her at all.

Some great new photos of Chinook and Julie! They are really photogenic and they especially take nice photos together! The elf pictures are especially awesome! You definitely should add those to the Holiday Photos picture gallery under Dog Pictures. They would make excellent additions to the growing gallery!
So, you mentioned Julie'd condition from aging--how old is she? |
