There are thousands of dog sites on the Internet. When evaluating, look for sites that have been around for a while, may be associated with a dog club or group, are recommended by a trusted source (vet, magazine, dog club, etc.), or are already well known and established. Also check if:

• The site is someone’s personal webpage
• News is from the source, for example, AKC news is on the AKC website
• The domain name is nonprofit (.org) or commercial (.com)
• The publisher has provided reliable contact information

• DogForums.com - A place to talk about everything dog-related in a forum format.
• Dog Infomat – Offers encyclopedic information about dogs and dog care.
