Lone Star Shih Tzu and Lhasa Apso Rescue is a dynamic, all volunteer organization headquartered in Texas. With over 100 volunteers throughout Texas, Louisiana and Arizona, they rescue, rehabilitate and rehome abused, abandoned and neglected shih tzu and lhasa apsos.

Since inception in 1999, LSSTLAR has found homes for over 1000 little dogs.

Known throughout the country for taking in the worst of the worst, LSSTLAR proudly takes in elderly, injured and ill dogs and brings them back to health.
