Lulu is a Leonberger, a breed of dog commonly mistaken for a sofa on legs. Similar in size to St. Bernards, Leonbergers are known for their sweet, helpful temperaments. Lulu is the sweetest of the sweet as you can see from her picture.

Lulu lives with three cats and two humans in Seattle. The cats use Lulu as their personal heating pad and list Snoutwork (periodic, thorough licking of Lulu's muzzle) as one of their favorite chores.

The American Kennel Club may or may not recognize Leonbergers as an official breed (they don't list them), but Lulu is too busy playing with her friends to care very much about breed integrity. If you care, you might visit the official Leonberger Club of the U.S.
