MARNI
Hello everyone, my name is MARNI , I am a mini-PooChon boy by breed, some people look down on me because I am a designer
dog and not a pure breed. But hey didn't they say USA is a melting pot? Where is the love?
I was born in Iowa on Oct 19, 2006. I flew over to boston in January09, because my breeder can't release me yet to the city,
they say I was too small. I now lived in boston with my mommy. Wow, there is a lot to see in this city, I didn't even know how to get
down from the sidewalk and hit my chin. I do miss my mommy and my brother from IOWA.
I am not sure if I am in love with my new mommy, but I sure love treats! I am still not potty trained, so my mommy is really really
mad and scold at me all the time. But I know she loves me.
I don't like to be alone, ever! I had no idea that being alone is so hard. I hope to find a partner, but my mommy is
planning to neuter me. So mean while, I will just sleep with my bunny.
I really think these pictures do any justice, I am way cuter in person. oops..dog
Oh look, my brothers & sisters. Look at the picture, guess which one am I? God I miss them!

My mom, aka Jolivia told me today she would throw me out of the window if I don't learn potty real soon. She often mumbles to her friends that ever since having me, she is suffering from high blood pressure, hair loss, insominia & multiple other medical terms that I don't understand. If anyone is reading this, please feel free to advise her on how to handle my uncontrollable urge to urinate at her most undesired spots.

Today, we went to the South End "Polka Dog Bakery". Oh mine, it's dog's heaven! There are so many differents cookies, treats & bones..I love it and didn't want to leave, I know why my mom brought me there, she is very determined to find a "distinctive" treat to give me when I do my potty at the right place. I tell you, it's not gonna work, I will just sit tight and gaze her in the eyes and she would just melt and give me the treats. She is wrapped around my paw. I don't even need to beg or potty at the right place.

I was just sitting here singing my favorite song (praticing for American Idol)~~~First I was afraid, I was petrified, Kept thinking I could never live without you by my side, But I spent so many nights, thinking how I did you wrong, I grew strong, I learned how to peepee on, and so I’m back from outer space, I just walked in to find you here with that sad look upon your face, I should have potty on that stupid pad, I should have made you leave your treat, If I had known for just one second you'd be back to scolding me~~~singing singing, and then I looked to my right, there it was. . . the big mysterious white pad that mom is always pointing at like a crazy woman, Oh, I think I need to pee..I think I will go there...a minute later, mom discovered it and she SCREAMED and gave me a big hug and patted all over my head, neck, body and kept saying what I good good boy I am and that I finally get it. She continued on praising me like I won the Oscars. I really don't know what the big fuss is all about, I mean I do this all day and everyday, I just don't potty in the same place, that's all. Oh, I get it, thats why she always give me a treat when she brings me there to potty. Oh I get it, I get it.
"yeah, he thinks he gets it. But he also forgets it, there has been a lot less accidents, and I am extremely happy, lets just hope that he will remember to go there everytime, my bald spot is starting grow back, Thank god."

Hello! I own Max who is one of the other poochons on this website. He was born a little before your baby. Max was difficult to potty train. Luckily, he has two big sisters (poodles) that he reall admires who helped to train him; however, when I was working with him on my own, it was really hard. Max would have three good days and then potty on the floor out of no where. I have two poodles aside from Max. The two poodles basically needed no training, so I was afraid Max was abnormal or something, but I learned that it is very common for potty training to take a while. Anyway, my suggestion is mainly keep an eye on him. You can't correct the behavior if you don't see him do it. It's important to catch him in the act, correct him, and bring him outside (or where ever you want him to go). If you can't watch him, fence off the space he can inhabit. Also, when I took Max outside to go, I would praise him like there was no tomorrow. After he would go potty, he would get so excited for himself because I made a big deal out of it. Even when he used his wee wee pads as a pup, I made a huge fuss. Bichons and poodles LOVE to know they did something right. They really are the overachievers of the dog world. Eventually your baby will get the hang of it. Just be consistent. Have a routine with your cutie. That will help a lot. Glad to know someone else loves their poochon. Good luck, and hang in there. It's worth it!

I am so glad to see that Marny is learnin' good potty habits! Hooray for Marny! I knew it would take a little time, but that Marny wold catch on soon! I thnk you are past the hard part and the rest will be smooth sailin' from here, minus an accident or two, which even Zoey, at the age of 3, still does on occasion for various reasons. Anyhow, keep up the updates and the photos! Love that little face of Marny's. HIP HIP HOORAY!
