Name: MikeBreed: Labrador?Born: We dont know the history of Mike before the day we got him but we did know he hadn't lived a very good life. We intercepted him on the way to the pound, where he would have certainly been euthanized for sure. The day we rescued him he was completely hairless. The lady he was with asked if anyone wanted a dog, otherwise she was taking him to the shelter. When we saw Mike we couldnt let him go! So he has been ours ever since. My goodness- I forgot to mention what he had... Mike had the most severe case of dermadexter mange my vet had ever seen in his 20+ years in practice! Our dog was free, but it cost about 3,000 dollars to get him well. Mike is worth every penny!About his owners: My family is fortunate enough to live on two acres in the Pacific NW. All of us are dog crazy and spoil the heck out of our dogs.Why Mike: Mike was a little angel disguised as a dog. The moment we saw him hairless and cold in the back of that womens truck we could not let him go anywhere but to our home. What Mike likes: TENNIS BALLS! And pretend he is a lapdog! :)Other dogs: Pete, Blue, Fred, and Barney! And the have there own page!
