Little Miss MoneyPenny. This photo shows her tan markings. Notice the tan legs, the bow tie on her chest, the clown smile on her face and the thumbs over each eye. Her tail is docked but we couldn't clip her ears. So her ears are natural. They fold down which would be a disqualification for the show ring but is not unusual.
Hercules, aka Hercufleas or Perky Herky

Hercules (aka Hercufleas or Perky Herky) is a beautiful Min Pin. He is a rescue who had serious medical problems. He is doing well in his furever home. And has even gained some weight as you can see in this picture. Whoever cropped his ears did a marvelous job. I think he is one of the prettiest Min Pins I've ever seen.

Some ratter he is!

Some ratter MiniMac is! He doesn't even react to Homer, the Hamster! But don't try this at home! Min Pins were originally bred to be rat catchers in homes.

Min Pin rescue is fun!

All these dogs are rescues. Pinheads are a fun dog to foster or adopt. Please check into adopting a rescue rather than buying a puppy.
Spunky Monkey is a red Miniature Pinscher

Spunky Monkey is a red Miniature Pinscher. He is a rescue that I adopted from IMPS (Internet Min Pin Services at MinPinRescue.com). He was hit by a car as a puppy and his owner didn't take him to the Vet until it was too late. His brain had started swelling. She wanted him put to sleep but the Vet was able to save him and gave him to IMPS in Georgia. I adopted him. He is now deaf, blind, is unable to smell or taste normally and has a little balance issue. But he gets along very well, is very healthy with no residual health issues. Our other dogs accomodate him and know how to play with him. His ears were not cropped and stay alert at all times. He follows me around the house by the vibrations of the floor. He knows his house very well and can run through it. We feed him in his crate (which can be taken anywhere so he always knows where his food is) and his water dish stays in the same place so he can find it easily.
Spunky Monkey is looking at you!

MoneyPenny and Spunky Monkey. Because it was a brain injury he doesn't look like he's blind. His eyes are healthy, his brain just can't process all that he sees because of the injury. Because of his disabilities, whenever we go somewhere, he can't walk on a leash and my arms get too tired after awhile so I have him in a stroller. So don't laugh at us the next time you see us with our dog in a stroller. You don't know the reason for it. There are good reasons for strollers so assume that we have a good reason and that we have hearts of love.
Spunky loves the sun!

Spunky Monkey loves the sun. These dogs are cold intolerant and must have coats on when they are in cool ac or it's cold outdoors. This was a sunny winter day (in SC, so it was probably in the upper 50's or I would have had his overcoat on top of his house coat). He feels the warmth either on his back or with his feet on the floor and he will stand in that sunny spot like a horse drowsing in the sun. He has a favorite spot in our bedroom where the afternoon sun comes in and he stands in it. I guess he does this because the sun moves and he moves with it. When he's outside her knows the patio is cold so he stands rather than lays on it. Of course, I have dog beds that I put out with them so they can rest in them. I bring them back in when the dogs come back in so that they stay dry and clean.

Anyone know of a min pin rescue in Southern California-Riverside San Bernardino area? My niece has a min pin she needs to find a home for.

Thanks!
