Mitzi
Breed: Rottweiler
Birthday: March 23, 2006
Hometown: Fresno, CA
How we met: Mitzi was a gift from my mother. The best thing my mom ever did for me was giving me Mitzi.
What makes my dog special: Mitzi is a purebred Rottie, but she has a full tail. I wasn't sure I liked this at first since all the Rotts I had growing up had the traditional docked tail, but her long, question-mark tail really grew on me and it's one of the things I love about her most! It gives her a really unique look.
My dog's likes/dislikes: Mitzi loves tennis balls, spending time with people, swimming in our pool, getting baths, eating ice cubes, pigs ears, getting her belly rubbed, playing with other dogs and digging in the dirt (We're trying to get her out of that habit, though.) She dislikes car travel (it makes her throw up), and when her tennis ball rolls under the couch. Mitzi also enjoys scratching herself. So much so that she had to sport an E-collar for about a week and a half while a self-inflicted bald spot on her butt healed.

Hi there Mitz! Welcome to the pack, young pup! Happy to see you and hear about you and your person! I bet you are growing like gangbusters! You sound like a very friendly dog, but it's a real bummer about those car rides. Must make it very difficult to go to the park or vet and all.
I have a friend with a similar problem and her vet told her that if she kept taking car rides, that it would help her get used to the movement. Her name is Trinity and she's on the site. I should double check with her and see if it's helped any. I know it's no fun in the meantime! I've also heard that a little Dramamine can help, but that's something I'd definitely double check with your vet about first, but may be an idea. Anyhow, nice page-you should send links to your pals so they can see your page also!! Then after that, send them to the Dog Pile Pictures, where you are definitely one of the Dogs of the Week! Definitely take a look around and I'm guessing there will be many things on the site for you to enjoy! Cheers! |
