I adopted a pitbul from my local Humain Society, she had been badly abused, and I have had her for a year, she is wonderful. Still very hyper, but has lots of potential. Loves the cats, loves to snuggle. Has to sleep under the covers at night. I lug her around sometimes like a child. She puts her paws around my neck and her feet around my hip. She wears a little blue coat. Doesnt really like to ride in the car unless she can ride in the front, in the seat or tries to ride in my lap when I am in the passenger seat.
She is a good dog, loves to be a part of the family. I dont see where she is vicious at all. She barks when people come to visit, until the sit down get to her level and than she calms right down and wants to be loved. These dogs are just misunderstood in alot of situations. I have seen dogs who have been vicious, and they were not pitbull. My tibetan terrior was more aggressive than my pitbull. In fact we had to get rid of the terrier, due to he was biting people when they got near him. He wouldnt let my son on the bed in the morning. My pitbull on the other hand sleeps with my son and loves all people.
