Best parks/walks:

  • There is a wonderful hidden jewel of a park right off of Chestnut St. in Newton Upper Falls. It's called Hemlock Gorge. There are some low hills, and lots of paths through the woods. Even a beautiful aquaduct that you can cross (the cross over road is closed - so it's just you and your dog - no cars!). It seems so strange that a few yards off a main street there is a walk in the woods that is serene and beautiful.
  • Newton Center Park, every morning around 8:00am a bunch of Newton dog owners meet for "doggie play group" You can also find Tail Waggerz there every morning if you would like to meet in person. The comradery of the dogs owners is great, they have alot of fun there. They have been doing this for at least 15 years.

Pets are aloud to roam freely in the home, sleep in a number of comfy doggie beds, some end up in the people's beds if thats what they want to do. They basically treats every one of their clients as if it were their own dogs. (they do have three of their own) They have all the best treats, and toys, and the best part is that they get to play with each other whenever they like, not when the schedule is marked "play time" like alot of kennels.
